Announcing: Hastings-on-Hudson’s Own TILI Garage!!
The Village of Hastings-on-Hudson invites you to the Grand Opening of our:
Take It or Leave It (TILI) Garage
Sunday, April 3, 11am-3pm.
TILI is a system where you can drop off unwanted household items and/or take anything you like, free! This effort aims to reduce waste by diverting usable goods from trash cans by finding them new homes.
Items accepted include: dishes, small working appliances, small furniture pieces, sports equipment, jewelry, toys, games, yard tools, and more (
see full list and more info here, on Hastings-on-Hudson’s Zero Waste Advisory Taskforce’s brand new website). No fabrics, textiles, stuffed toys or furnishings. All items must be in good condition.
The TILI Garage will be open for drop-offs and pickups:
Every Sunday 11am-3pm except holidays

Wanna get involved? Volunteer for a shift! Teen volunteers can receive a community service acknowledgment letter toward their service.

Directions to the TILI Garage: Use the main entrance to Andrus on Hudson Senior Care Community at 185 Old Broadway @Tompkins Avenue. Follow the TILI signs to parking. The TILI Shed is in a 2-bay garage attached to an empty, red-brick residential building, downhill and east of the main building, near the back exit to North Broadway. See map on
